About The Position

Advanced Radiology Services (ARS) is a large, physician-owned radiology practice seeking an Emergency Radiologist to join their team of 50 physicians. ARS provides services to over 60 sites in Michigan, including being the exclusive radiology provider for Spectrum Health, West Michigan's largest Level I trauma center and research hospital. In 2022, ARS read a significant volume of STAT cases for Spectrum Health and other healthcare systems. This position offers a blend of on-site shifts in Grand Rapids and remote shifts from home, with both first and second shift opportunities available. The on-site hospital shifts are from 8 AM to 4 PM. Standard schedule positions involve working 39 weeks with 11 weekends and include 13 weeks of vacation.

Requirements

• Demonstrated career interest in Emergency Radiology
• Strong clinical skills in all modalities and organ systems
• Certified by the ABR or AOBR
• Completion of an emergency radiology fellowship or demonstrated experience in ER setting

Responsibilities

• Interpret ER-centric US, CT, MR, NM and conventional radiography
• Function well in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting
• Provide exceptional service to referring physicians and patients
