About The Position
Deaconess Health System is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join their team at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. This is a full-time position with approximately 18,000 annual visits and an average of 25-30 patients per shift. The role involves 12-hour physician shifts and requires holiday coverage. The physician will be part of a robust hospital-employed group with advanced practice provider support and will utilize the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician.
- Prior EM experience and/or EM fellowship training is required.
- J-1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in an emergency medicine setting.
- Work 12-hour physician shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am).
- Cover holidays as required.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation.
