Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
• Current IL state license is a plus.
• Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients.
• Work within a small community ER supported by a large academic center.
• Serve as a Level II Trauma Center and STEMI Receiving Center physician.
• Utilize Epic EMR with Dragon dictation.
• Collaborate with 24-hour intensivist available in the ED.
• Care for a patient population including geriatrics, PEDS, and a large Hispanic population.
• Manage an annual volume of approximately 28,000 patients with a 20-25% admit rate.
