About The Position

Vituity is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join its physician-owned partnership at Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. The partnership offers physician ownership from day one, autonomy and local control, financial transparency, profit distributions, and career development opportunities, with support from Vituity’s corporate healthcare team and peer network of 9,000 clinicians.

Mercy Medical Center is a 183-bed facility with a 26-bed Emergency Department and an annual emergency department volume of 34,000. It is a STEMI Receiving Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, with 24/7 in-house hospitalists, an on-site crisis stabilization unit, an inpatient behavioral health hospital, and substance abuse navigators.

The position offers an estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 to $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Physicians participate in Vituity’s partnership model, including profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range. Part-time and per diem compensation is prorated based on clinical hours worked.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
