About The Position

We are seeking a physician to cover a few weekends a year for 63.5-hour shifts, starting Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM. The department has an average volume of 8-15 patients per weekend. Family Medicine physicians in Ada cover the Emergency Medicine department. This is a collegial, team-oriented department that utilizes EPIC DAX ambient voice for clinical documentation. Essentia Health – Ada is a Level IV Trauma Center, a 14-bed Critical Access hospital, and a physician-led organization.

Requirements

• BC/BE Emergency Medicine or BC/BE Family Medicine with experience (or additional training in EM)
• ACLS, ATLS/CALS, PALS Certification
• Verification of legal right to work in the United States
• Health screening and immunization review
• Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
• Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
