Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
• Current TX state license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the UMC East Emergency Department, UMC Northeast Emergency Department, and UMC Surgical Hospital.
• Cross-credentialed at all three facilities.
• Serve patients at a 7-bed satellite Emergency Department with 4 Fast Track beds.
• Work within a system affiliated with a 310-bed hospital and Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and Level IV Maternal Designation.
• Manage approximately 55 daily visits between UMC East and Northeast EDs.
