About The Position
Hartford HealthCare is seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine Nocturnists to join their team at The William W. Backus Hospital, a 213-bed acute care community hospital with a 45,000+ visit Level 3 trauma center in Norwich, CT. The position features well-balanced 10-hour shifts with a 2-hour overlap, a highly efficient practice model, and a stable, well-tenured ED with responsive administration. Requirements
- BC / BE Emergency Medicine
- Ability to obtain licensure in CT
Responsibilities
- Provide care as an Emergency Medicine Nocturnist.
- Spend more time with higher acuity patients due to an efficient practice model.
- Collaborate with other physicians during a 2-hour overlap for patient disposition, documentation, and turnover.
- Utilize a fully integrated EPIC EMR system.
