About The Position

Sanford Clinic Radiology is seeking a BE/BC General Radiologist to join its current group of 35. This position offers 190 shifts annually with 14 weeks off, and remote reading is available for overnights 7 days a week. There is no call requirement. Candidates with an interest in body imaging and neuroradiology are desired. The practice is supported by well-trained Radiographic Technologists and support staff, and utilizes state-of-the-art technology including dual energy CT and 3T MRI. The team is committed to providing the highest level of service for patients and referring physicians.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree
Completion of a hospital-affiliated Radiology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
If not board certified at the time of application, must have completed residency training within the last five years and achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training unless waived by the governing Board.
Demonstrate active involvement of at least 200 Radiology examinations in the last 24 months.
If not applying directly out of residency, provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where currently has privileges showing clinical activity for the past 24 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications. If a quality profile is not available, documentation of clinical activity for the past 24 months will be accepted.
