About The Position

The Physician Credentialed Trainer is responsible for the initial and ongoing training and support of all physicians and advance practice providers, super-users and end users of the electronic medical record (EMR) hospital system.

Requirements

• Associates Degree with 3 years experience in hospital environment with knowledge of informatics education and physician documentation OR 7 years experience in hospital environment with knowledge of informatics education and physician documentation.
• Epic end user experience
• Epic Credentialed Trainer within 90 days of hire
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in health related field
• Epic Super user, staff development and clinical informatics education experience
• Possess current comprehensive cognitive knowledge about healthcare and clinical informatics including writing behavior objectives and organizing educational programs from conception to evaluation.
• Understands and practices patient confidentiality; displays problem identification and conflict resolution.
• Ability to assess and analyze needs, and coordinate/plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of computerized documentation programs
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
