Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine physicians.
  • Current CA state license is a plus.
  • DEA Licensure required.
  • CCHP-P Certified preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care within correctional health facilities.
  • Offer services at multiple sites including Hi-Desert Detention Center, Central Detention Center, and San Bernardino County Detention Facility.
  • Manage patient mix ranging from 18 months to 101 years old.
  • Provide on-site dialysis sweep and suicide watch.
  • Ensure X-ray services are available seven days a week.
  • Collaborate with a separate mental health facility.
