This specific opportunity is for a physician to work within correctional health facilities in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The practice includes multiple sites: Hi-Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, and San Bernardino County Detention Facility in Rancho Cucamonga. The facilities have 5 exam rooms and 16 units, with on-site Dialysis Sweep and Suicide Watch. Facility hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Patient demographics range from 18 months to 101 years old. X-ray services are available seven days a week, and there is a separate mental health facility.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine physicians.
- DEA Licensure required.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- CCHP-P Certified preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical care within correctional health facilities.
- Manage patient care in a multi-site system.
- Offer services including on-site Dialysis Sweep and Suicide Watch.
- Conduct patient mix ranging from 18 months to 101 years old.
- Ensure X-ray services are available seven days a week.
