About The Position

This role leads the administration and oversight of physician and advanced practice provider (APP) compensation programs across MLHC. It manages a team of Incentive Compensation Analysts and partners closely with the Vice President of Provider Contracting, Finance, and operational leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant compensation processes. The position serves as the subject matter expert on provider compensation, supporting contract development, compensation modeling, and trend analysis to guide strategic decision-making. It oversees all aspects of compensation operations, including incentive calculations, payroll submissions, reconciliations, and general ledger alignment for a large employed provider network. Additionally, this role drives continuous improvement of compensation programs, maintains detailed compensation databases and contract records, supports budgeting and financial reporting, and ensures accurate execution of complex incentive structures. It also plays a key leadership role in staff management, cross-functional collaboration, and advising senior leadership on physician compensation strategy and cash flow planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare finance with emphasis on financial analysis and review.
  • Expert analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
