PRN - Virtual Physician Collaborator (Remote)
About The Position

As a Physician Collaborator, you will share our vision to improve healthcare in the communities we serve! This is a fully remote role, with an average of 5 hours of work monthly. You will report to our Associate Director. You will collaborate with our APPs who provide virtual wraparound services to support patients who have had fractures in the last 6 months when they cannot get in with their own PCP.
Requirements
- Must have unrestricted medical license and reside in the state of South Carolina
- Graduate of MD/DO program of accredited university
- Board certification or Board Eligible
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with mid-levels
- Self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the APP to close gaps in care and ensure access to needed services
- Complete regular chart reviews and coordinate monthly meetings
- Be a resource for APPs to ensure quality patient care
