About The Position

Seeking an experienced General Cardiologist to deliver comprehensive cardiology services in both outpatient and inpatient environments. This role has a 95% outpatient focus with hospital rounding on a 1:4 weekend basis, and no emergency room responsibilities.

Requirements

• Active Arizona State Medical License or IMLC
• Board Certified or Board Eligible; certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency completion
• Minimum of 2 years in a relevant clinical setting preferred
• Flu vaccination required or valid medical/religious exemption
• COVID-19 vaccination required or valid medical/religious exemption
• BLS (AHA issued) - Required for all specialties
• Electrocardiogram (EKG) - Mandatory
• Echocardiography - Mandatory
• Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) - Mandatory
• Nuclear Stress Testing - Mandatory
• Treadmill Stress Testing - Mandatory
• Holter/Event Monitoring - Mandatory

Nice To Haves

• ACLS (AHA issued) - Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
• Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization - Non-Mandatory

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounding and manage outpatient clinic operations
• Interpret noninvasive studies, including: Electrocardiograms (EKG), Echocardiography, Stress testing (Treadmill and Nuclear Medicine), Vascular Ultrasound, Event monitors and Holter monitoring
