About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology to join us at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Lafayette located in Lafayette, Indiana. The interested candidate will join a talented and extensive cardiology team in a practice that is currently experiencing significant growth. The ideal candidate will have imaging experience, a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

• Doctorate - Required
• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Permanent Pacemaker implants
• Pacemaker Lead extractions
• Leadless Pacemaker implants
• ICD implants
• Left Atrial Appendage Closure
• Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT
• Cryoablation
• Covergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons
• Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
