About The Position
Neuvera Brain Health Institute is an outpatient clinic in Palo Alto dedicated to advancing brain health through high-quality neurological care and patient-centered treatment. The institute is committed to compassionate care, efficient clinical operations, and a positive patient experience. The Physician Assistant will join a growing neurology practice and work closely with the supervising physician to support patient care, EEG-related workflows, and evaluation and management of neurological conditions, including epilepsy and seizure disorders, as well as psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety. Training will be provided for practice-specific clinical workflows.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active California PA license in good standing.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Interest in neurology, epilepsy, and EEG.
Nice To Haves
- Previous neurology or EEG experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient evaluations, medical histories, and follow-up care.
- Support care for patients with neurological conditions, including seizures and epilepsy, and psychiatric disorders, including depression and anxiety.
- Assist with EEG-related workflows and preliminary review, as permitted by applicable regulations and under appropriate supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate care with the clinical team.
- Educate patients and families and support daily clinic operations.
