About The Position
AnovaWorks is seeking a Physician Assistant in Kennewick, Washington, to provide employee health services. The role offers independent practice focused on accessible, quality, empathetic care. Patient appointments are longer, the average workload is approximately 10 patients per day, and there are no insurance code requirements, weekend expectations, or on-call expectations. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- WA Nurse Practitioner License (required, as written in the posting).
- BLS/ACLS certification (required).
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care, or ER is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational health treatment.
- Diagnose and treat acute and episodic illnesses.
- Prescribe necessary medications and treatments.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Communicate with a collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
