The PA will be responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space. There may be opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room as well. The position includes coverage for multi surgical specialties including: General surgery, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Breast surgery, Podiatry, GYN, Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, Spine surgery, Robotic surgery, Interventional Radiology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Current NYS PA licensure
- NCCPA certification
- DEA Certification
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space.
- Opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room.
