About The Position
Florida ENT & Allergy, a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, is seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for their expanding ENT Urgent Care program in Tampa Bay. This is a specialty-focused urgent care role where the APP will work alongside board-certified otolaryngologists, utilizing specialty-level diagnostic tools. The position offers the resources of a large organization with the culture of a close-knit clinical team, focusing on providing high-quality care and fostering professional growth.
Requirements
- Active FL license as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or APRN - board certified
- Strong procedural skills: suturing, wound care, I&D, splinting
- Ability to evaluate and manage acute conditions across all age groups
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient rapport
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to long-term employment and professional growth
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ENT/head & neck clinical background
- Experience with ENT-specific procedures or diagnostic equipment
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute ENT and allergy conditions across all age groups
- Minor in-office procedures including suturing, I&D, splinting, foreign body removal, and wound care
- Independent management of acute illness and injury with attending physician support available
- Building strong patient relationships in a setting that values continuity and quality outcomes
