About The Position

This position calls for Physician Assistants to partner as independent contractors providing services to Military Service members under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). The role primarily involves working weekends, with some occasional weekdays, in the State of ME on an "as needed basis". The program aims to provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements for maintaining a deployable military force across various U.S. military reserve components. The company, with over three decades of experience, is a trusted industry leader dedicated to setting a new standard of care delivery through fixed-clinic, mobile treatment center, telemedicine, and portable deployment models.

Requirements

• Supervising Physician may required depending on the state requirement
• Active PA license in the state
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of service members seen daily
• Able to work extended hours
• Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge and skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health
• Experience with mobile medical services
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology
• Able to travel, with weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
