Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care or ambulatory care highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs physical, psycho-social assessment
- Establishes medical diagnosis
- Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests
- Manages follow up care
- Performs physical examinations
- Develops treatment plans
- Orders and interprets lab tests and results
- Provides preventative healthcare and counseling
