About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Physician Assistant in Salem, New Jersey. This is an outpatient primary care role serving underserved and diverse patient populations. The position offers the opportunity to provide full-scope Family Medicine services within a collaborative community healthcare setting. It features a structured weekday schedule with designated administrative time, a team-based environment emphasizing continuity of care and integrated patient support, and is located in Southern New Jersey with access to Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore, and strong community-centered living.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from accredited Physician Assistant program REQUIRED
- Active New Jersey Physician Assistant license REQUIRED
- Valid CDS, DEA, and CPR certification REQUIRED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED
- Ability to work independently within collaborative team environment REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Family Practice or community health setting preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and patient history reviews
- Diagnose health conditions using clinical evaluations, labs, diagnostics, and medical records
- Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and therapeutic responses
- Order labs, diagnostics, and specialty referrals as needed
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
