Physician Assistant Full Time
About The Position
AFC Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join its team in San Diego, California. The centers provide walk-in care for acute illnesses and injuries, with on-site laboratory and X-ray services, seven days a week. The role offers a stable, supported practice and an environment conducive to expanding clinical scope. Scheduling options include 8–10 shifts per month, typically 2–3 workdays per week, with shifts of 9–12 hours during operating hours of 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Pre-approved overtime is available. Compensation is $74–$78 per hour, with additional biweekly bonuses based on patient-volume thresholds. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, a 401(k), and CME reimbursement.
Requirements
- Unrestricted medical license in California.
- DEA Certificate.
- NCCPA board certification.
- At least two years of experience in an emergency room, urgent care, or primary care setting.
- Ability to treat patients of all ages.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including suturing lacerations and draining abscesses.
- Availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
