About The Position
The Allied Health Professional may perform delegated functions as appropriate to their “scope of practice” under the direction and supervision of the physician.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Physician Assistant Board of California
- Current DEA license
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Performing direct and indirect general orthopedic care
- Performing admission evaluation of new patients, obtains medical history
- Performing physical exams and reporting into patient’s medical record
- Assisting in performing office-based procedures
