About The Position

Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant to join our new outpatient pain management practice in Myrtle Beach, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA who enjoys practicing with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with experienced physicians. You'll care for patients living with chronic pain, helping them improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life through individualized treatment plans. This role offers a predictable outpatient schedule with no overnight shifts, a collaborative physician-led practice with strong clinical support, and the opportunity to manage your own patient panel. The practice utilizes a modern, evidence-based approach to spine and pain management, with opportunities for professional growth within one of the Southeast's fastest-growing specialty practices.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active South Carolina PA license
Current BLS certification
National Provider Identifier (NPI)

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Manage follow-up appointments and monitor patient progress
Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging
Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
