About The Position
CoxHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Inpatient Cardiology team at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri. The PA will work under the supervision of a licensed physician, engaged in the examination or treatment of patients. This role is part of the Cardiovascular Observation Services and is scheduled for 36 hours per week, with shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM. Requirements
- Graduate of accredited physician assistant program
- No Prior Experience Required
- Self-motivated individual who can work with little direct supervision
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; tolerance for working with multiple numbers of people
- Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Needs to obtain PA License within 60 days of hire
- Successful completion of all department specific credentialing within first 90 days of employment
