About The Position
Motion Orthopedics is a dynamic orthopedic surgery practice in the greater New York and New Jersey area with multiple offices. They are looking for a Full Time Physician Assistant to join their team. This role will involve working directly alongside renowned physicians, with a focus on supporting Dr. Kevin Wright, MD, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with an upper extremity fellowship. The position requires 4 days in clinic and 1 day in the OR as a first assist, with clinic days in Manhattan, Kew Gardens, and Bronx locations. The practice emphasizes work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or on-call duty. They are an equal opportunity employer and participate in E-Verify.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice in New York State.
- New Grad's Welcome!
Nice To Haves
- Prior orthopedic surgery or OR experience.
- Worker's Compensation license.
- New Jersey Medical license.
Responsibilities
- Support Dr. Kevin Wright, MD, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with an upper extremity fellowship.
- Support other Doctors in the practice as needed.
- Work 4 days in clinic.
- Work 1 day in the OR as a first assist.
- Provide coverage in Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island locations.
