About The Position

Advocare Grove Family Medical Associates in charming Haddonfield, NJ is seeking a Physician’s Assistant with excellent qualifications to join our growing suburban practice. We are seeking a Provider for Part-Time or Full-Time. Our practice has the benefits of a warm, family environment while being connected to the large Advocare network with excellent resources and benefits. Patients span all ages 16 and older. We have a strong commitment to promoting healthful living. The practice has an outstanding reputation for caring concern for patients; our physicians maintain high standards and have been rated Top Docs over the years. All providers are Board Certified. The practice has been recognized as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home. This is an outpatient responsibilities only role with flexible / stable hours. Full-time providers work four full days per week, with no weekends. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The location offers an easy commute from Philadelphia on PATCO train Haddonfield Station. Nearby are neighborhood parks and trails, as well as all the shops and cafes in historic Haddonfield. We are seeking a Physician’s Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The PA is responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. This includes providing general and preventive care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and prescribing medications. The PA plays a vital role in all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, and consultation, while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care. Requirements

Board Certification as a Physician’s Assistant
Strong educational background
Experience working in primary care as a Physician’s Assistant (1-2 years minimum)
Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work
Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare workers, and collaborate with team members
Must be able to think critically, evaluate various options to treat a condition and then identify the one he or she decides will have the best outcome
Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced yet friendly environment
Must be well organized and detail-oriented; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion concerning health service records and information

Responsibilities

Performing physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses
Administering and performing diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests
Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones
Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed
Educating and counseling patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care
Facilitating the patient’s transition within and between health care settings, e.g., admitting, transferring, and discharging patients
Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
Planning and managing patient care according to the patient’s needs
Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc.
Actively maintaining knowledge of current medical research and trends
