About The Position

This role is for a Regional Physician Assistant who will support both Monterey and Santa Cruz locations. The ideal candidate is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for weight management, disease prevention and reversal, and cardiometabolic health. The position involves a multidisciplinary approach touching on nutrition, women’s health, endocrinology, exercise physiology, lifestyle medicine, pharmacology, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement treatment, and motivational counseling. The role requires an unwavering dedication to exceptional patient care, a collaborative spirit, intrinsic motivation, and acute attention to detail, along with a polished and professional demeanor. The candidate will also lead a small team of health coaches and member care coordinators.

Requirements

  • California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
  • DEA Registration Certificate.
  • OIG Clearance and NPI number
  • Must be able to meet and receive a background check to include criminal records clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight loss, applying the JumpstartMD program.
  • Provide routine patient care, including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
  • Ensure up-to-date patient records, ordering and evaluating lab tests as needed.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and promptly respond to post-visit inquiries.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics in delivering quality patient care.
  • Support team by assisting with medical and program-related questions, attending meetings, and completing required training.
