Urgent Care PA (3-day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant for our El Monte clinic. We are a multi-specialty medical group that offers services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. We have a highly collaborative team of 25 providers spread across 8 locations. We offer a supportive environment for both new grads and experienced providers to provide care to underserved communities around Southern California. Build a strong foundation in primary care/urgent care while gaining hands-on experience with common procedures. Our Medical Director hosts weekly provider meetings to provide feedback, discuss specific cases, and share the latest in clinical research findings. Our team of 6 MDs, each with 30+ years of experience, rotate across all of our offices, and provide clinical support in-person or via phone during all shifts. Highlights: Structured onboarding with close physician mentorship and a dedicated training period Team-based coverage model with no solo provider shifts Strong clinical support staff and a collaborative workplace culture $20,000 sign-on bonus upon hire Additional incentives tied to performance Schedule includes three weekday shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 PM) and one weekend shift every other week (9:00 AM–5:00 PM), allowing for extended weekends on alternating weeks No call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities; administrative tasks are managed by a separate support team Opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across all age groups and backgrounds Clinical exposure spanning both primary care and urgent care settings Comprehensive benefits package, including full medical coverage and DEA/CME reimbursement Due to patient demographics, Spanish or Mandarin fluency is strongly preferred
