About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to work with an experienced, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in Arlington, Texas. The role supports comprehensive orthopedic care and involves working as part of a team with substantial physician support. The PA will serve the THPG patient population in the assigned setting and report to the supervising physician and/or Medical Director. The PA must maintain an active Texas license in good standing and meet continuing medical education requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The position includes surgical assistance, clinic visits, and inpatient consultations and follow-ups. The PA will plan treatment and document care using EPIC EMR. The schedule includes rotating call coverage, with flexible hours based on the operating room schedule and patient needs. The environment encourages learning and career development.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active Texas physician assistant license maintained in good standing.
• First-assist surgical experience required.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Orthopedic surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities
