About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to work with a skilled, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon providing comprehensive orthopedic care. The role includes surgical assistance, clinic visits, and inpatient consultations and follow-ups. The position offers physician support and an environment that encourages learning and career development. The schedule includes rotating call coverage, with flexible hours based on the operating room schedule and patient needs. The PA will use EPIC EMR to plan treatment and document care, and will be responsible for meeting continuing medical education requirements to maintain certification and licensure. Duties apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Active Texas physician assistant license maintained in good standing.
• Strong communication skills.
• First-assist surgical experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Orthopedic surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist an experienced general orthopedic surgeon in surgery.
