About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing cardiology team. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will work collaboratively with supervising physicians to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care and serve as an integral part of our patient care team.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
Active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential through the NCCPA.
Acute Care Certification required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in cardiology preferred.
Experience in cardiovascular medicine, vascular care, or related specialty practice.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credentials through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Hold and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with authority to prescribe medications commonly utilized within the scope of practice.
Be eligible to provide reimbursable healthcare services and maintain active provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
Remain in good standing without sanctions, exclusions, or restrictions from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) or the General Services Administration (GSA) exclusion lists.
Maintain unrestricted medical staff membership and applicable clinical privileges.
Possess and maintain prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and medical staff privileging requirements.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care and support positive patient outcomes.
