About The Position

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac and vascular care with a personal touch. We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing cardiology team. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will work collaboratively with supervising physicians to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care and serve as an integral part of our patient care team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • Active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential through the NCCPA.
  • Acute Care Certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of experience in cardiology preferred.
  • Experience in cardiovascular medicine, vascular care, or related specialty practice.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credentials through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Hold and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with authority to prescribe medications commonly utilized within the scope of practice.
  • Be eligible to provide reimbursable healthcare services and maintain active provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Remain in good standing without sanctions, exclusions, or restrictions from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) or the General Services Administration (GSA) exclusion lists.
  • Maintain unrestricted medical staff membership and applicable clinical privileges.
  • Possess and maintain prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and medical staff privileging requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care and support positive patient outcomes.
