About The Position
The IMA Group is hiring a Physician Assistant to conduct independent medical evaluations for Veterans pursuing disability benefits tied to service-connected conditions. The role is based in Russellville, Arkansas, and is scheduled two days per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is an assessment-only position focused on clinical evaluation and documentation, with no ongoing patient management, treatment plans, on-call duties, or after-hours pages. The schedule may suit clinicians supplementing another role or seeking a regular part-time commitment.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Arkansas.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification in good standing.
- Solid clinical background and strong diagnostic reasoning.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Health, Orthopedics, or PM&R.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed physical examinations and gather medical histories.
- Analyze medical records, imaging, and diagnostic results.
- Apply VA disability evaluation standards to clinical findings.
- Draft objective, well-supported reports linking conditions to military service.
- Submit documentation through the digital case platform.
