About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner conducts focused veteran disability evaluations in Russellville, Arkansas, one to two days per week. The role involves assessing Veterans and documenting findings against VA evaluation criteria; it does not involve ongoing patient caseloads, chronic-condition management, on-call duties, or treatment plans. Flexible scheduling may allow the successful candidate to start within days.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Arkansas Nurse Practitioner license.
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Prior clinical Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Strong assessment and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, or a similar field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical histories and focused physical examinations.
- Review records, diagnostics, and testing.
- Document findings against VA evaluation criteria.
- Write reports linking a Veteran’s condition to their service.
- Complete VA questionnaires using the company’s digital platform.
