About The Position
Under the general supervision of a physician or administrator, the Physician Assistant provides comprehensive outpatient surgical care, including patient evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up care, and select office-based procedures. The Physician Assistant collaborates closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum of surgical services.
Requirements
- BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
- PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - NYS Office of Professions
- Compassionate, patient-centered provider
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in an outpatient surgical practice
- Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform select office procedures within scope of practice
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
