About The Position

Skin and Cancer Institute is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its dermatology practice in Modesto. The practice operates in California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, and provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services. The Physician Assistant will work with board-certified dermatologists and medical staff to deliver dermatologic care, with an emphasis on skin cancer detection and treatment, in a supportive professional environment.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin evaluations and skin cancer screenings.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
• Conduct in-office procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions.
• Assist with surgical dermatology cases and post-operative care.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and prevention.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
