About The Position
Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The position involves evaluating and treating residents with a variety of skin conditions, from acute to chronic and benign to malignant, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. The role is described as part-time and offers a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
- An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
- DEA license.
- CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Completion of a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- One year of experience in Dermatology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds and stand, walk, or work on one's feet for up to 6–8 hours per day.
Nice To Haves
- Experience documenting in an EMR such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
- Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being.
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medication and administer treatments.
- Provide person-centered care.
- Conduct screenings and skin evaluations.
- Perform skin biopsies.
- Provide wound care and skincare.
- Diagnose and treat residents with a variety of skin conditions, ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignant.
