About The Position

Saint Michael's Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Physician Assistant to manage and supervise the practice. The role calls for strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as effective relationships with internal and external business-office contacts. The Physician Assistant interacts with patients and staff while maintaining professional-service and medical-care standards and attention to detail. Clinical duties include lab draws, taking vital signs, and administering injections.

Founded by the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor in 1867, it is accredited by The Joint Commission and provides care using advanced technology, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, research, and a network of physicians and other health professionals. Its Heart and Vascular Institute offers cardiac treatments and procedures.

Requirements

• Current and valid Physician Assistant license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintained thereafter.

• Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
