About The Position

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to help expand its Urology service line. The role requires laparoscopic and robotic surgical experience and the ability to lead a clinic independently and effectively. The position serves patients at both the Butte and Dillon locations and is not suitable for a new graduate.

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is an 18-bed critical access hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services across Southwest Montana. The organization was named a 2024 Top 20 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Health Association and continues to expand services in response to community needs.

The role is based in a community in Dillon, Montana, surrounded by outdoor recreation opportunities, including fishing, skiing, and mountain activities. The community also has a public school system and the University of Montana Western.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• At least five years of ambulatory or surgical experience.
• Laparoscopic and robotic surgical experience.
• A self-directed, motivated approach and commitment to advancing quality, access, continuity, and patient outcomes within a well-developed practice.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A versatile skill set and willingness to learn and grow with the evolving needs of the role.

Nice To Haves

• Current Montana licensure and DEA registration are preferred; the ability to obtain both is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Help expand the Urology service line.
• Lead a clinic independently and effectively.
• Provide care to patients at the Butte and Dillon locations.
