About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Physician specializing in Urology. The role involves providing call coverage in the Emergency Department for inpatient care, specifically covering every weekend from Friday 07:00 to Monday 07:00. The position is to address gaps in coverage and requires a commitment to the full weekend shift without exceptions. EMR training, specifically EPIC, is mandatory before the first day of work, with no option to test out. Candidates must be available from January 25, 2027, to April 30, 2027, and must commit to a specified number of shifts monthly. Competency in all required procedures must be disclosed at the time of name clear. A clean malpractice history and background check are required.

Requirements

Board Certified in Urology
Active Colorado State License or Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification required at the time of name clear)
Current BLS certification and DEA registration preferred for credentialing
Candidates must specify availability from January 25, 2027, to April 30, 2027
Candidates must state the number of shifts they can commit to monthly
Acknowledge understanding of EMR training requirements and commitment to complete it in a timely manner
Must be competent in performing all required procedures and disclose this at the time of name clear
Clean malpractice history and background check
