About The Position
We’re hiring a Physician Assistant in Stuart, Virginia who wants predictable hours, meaningful community impact, and strong benefits. You’ll step into a school-based outpatient role focused on providing acute care to elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as school staff. You will practice independently with support from a Medical Director while delivering hands-on care, including minor procedures such as suturing. This position involves providing direct medical care of elementary, middle, and high school students and School System staff. The work is performed independently with oversight provided by the Medical Director. In our new Patrick County Public Schools Clinic.
Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Virginia PA license and DEA
- Comfortable practicing independently
- Enjoy caring for pediatric and adolescent populations
- Confident performing minor procedures
- Value community-based care
Responsibilities
- Providing acute care to elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as school staff.
- Practicing independently with support from a Medical Director.
- Delivering hands-on care, including minor procedures such as suturing.
- Providing direct medical care of elementary, middle, and high school students and School System staff.
