About The Position
Licensed Physician Assistant needed for busy orthopedic surgeon in North OKC.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA license in State of Oklahoma required
- NCCPA certified or eligible
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong computer skills
Nice To Haves
- One year in orthopedics is preferred
- Experience with Epic a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide acute and chronic patient care including patient histories
- Perform pre and post operative patient care
- Wound care and suturing
- Monitor therapies
- Prescribe appropriate medications
- Order and interpret tests
- Take patient calls as needed
- Educate patients and families
- Complete discharge summaries as requested by physician
