Locum - Urgent Care Physician Assistant
About The Position
The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its Urgent Care team at Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani Medical Office in Wailuku, Central Maui. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Physician Assistant with solid clinical skills to practice in an innovative and fully integrated health system. The role involves high acuity Urgent Care with a blend of outpatient illnesses and injuries for a diverse patient population of all ages. There is excellent follow-up by the patient's PCP, a high degree of collaboration with specialists and staff, and a state-of-the-art EMR (EPIC) that supports integration with all providers.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Bachelor's degree
- NCCPA and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of post-training experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
- Recent experience caring for patients as young as 6 months
- Must commit to a full-time schedule for a minimum of 6 months
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred
