About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team with a mix of outpatient and inpatient practice settings. This role involves adult medicine with rehabilitation and musculoskeletal/pain management components, providing evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as managing patients with musculoskeletal, functional, mobility, and rehabilitation needs. The facility serves a population of approximately 130,000 across the Manhattan and surrounding area and is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• 2-3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of adult patient with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Manage patients with musculoskeletal, functional, mobility, and rehabilitation needs.
