Urgent Care PA (3-day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant for their Irvine clinic. This multi-specialty medical group provides services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. The clinic boasts a collaborative team of 25 providers across 8 locations, offering a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced providers to serve underserved communities in Southern California. The role involves building a strong foundation in primary care/urgent care, gaining hands-on experience with common procedures, and participating in weekly provider meetings led by the Medical Director for feedback, case discussions, and clinical research updates. Clinical support is available from a team of 6 MDs, each with over 30 years of experience, who rotate across offices and provide support in-person or via phone during all shifts.
Requirements
- Full-time Physician Assistant.
- Ability to provide care to underserved communities.
- Ability to build a strong foundation in primary care/urgent care.
- Ability to gain hands-on experience with common procedures.
- Ability to participate in weekly provider meetings.
- Ability to provide care to a diverse patient population across all age groups and backgrounds.
- Ability to gain clinical exposure spanning both primary care and urgent care settings.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish fluency is strongly preferred.
- Mandarin fluency is strongly preferred.
