About The Position

GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with Legacy Health, is seeking experienced Physician Assistants for their urgent care centers in the Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA region. This role offers the opportunity to practice urgent care medicine with professional support from a fast-growing network and a collaborative clinical leadership team. The centers are equipped with advanced technology, including an integrated Epic EMR with Dragon Dictate, and offer patient access tools like online registration and appointment scheduling.

Requirements

1-2 years’ experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required.
Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an urgent care or emergency room setting.
Ability to comfortably perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.).
Ability to provide overview reads of EKGs and X-rays.
Current applicable state licensure to practice as a PA or ability to obtain licensure upon date of hire.
Certification from the National Commission on Certification of PA’s.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages).
Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.).
Provide overview reads of EKGs and X-rays.
Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Paramedics for support.
Opportunity to work with a Scribe.
Exclusively practice urgent care medicine, focusing on dedicated urgent care specialty rather than Primary Care, DOT, or Occupational Medicine.
