About The Position
Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is a leader in sports medicine and orthopedics in the midwest, providing exceptional care for athletes and active individuals for over 40 years. They are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to assist a high-volume orthopedic surgeon with both surgical and clinical responsibilities. The PA will act as first assist in the operating room under the surgeon's direction. Requirements
- NCCPA Certification
- Valid license with state of Indiana
- Familiarity with EMR systems
Nice To Haves
- NextGen experience helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as first assist in the OR under the direction of the surgeon.
- Obtain, compile, and record patient medical data, health history, progress notes, and examination results.
- Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens.
- Assist Orthopedic Surgeon during surgery or complicated medical procedures.
