About The Position

The Physician Assistant (PA) Urgent Care is a licensed, certified healthcare provider who renders direct patient care and has prescriptive authority. They are credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider by Medicare and Medicaid. The Advanced Practice Provider offers medical care based on the supervising physician's scope of practice and typically cares for patients in an urgent or convenient care clinic. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE opportunity with a unique rotating schedule designed to support work-life balance. The practice is adult-focused, primarily serving patients ages 18+, and is an excellent opportunity for providers who enjoy building relationships with the geriatric population. It is an ideal environment for compassionate, patient-centered clinicians who value quality care and continuity. Double provider coverage on Fridays promotes teamwork and provider support, and it offers the opportunity to practice broad urgent care medicine in a well-established outpatient setting. The clinic hours are Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The rotating 2-week schedule includes only 8 working days per pay period: Week 1: 5 shifts, Week 2: 3 shifts. The collaborative team environment includes dedicated support staff with 1 LVN assigned per provider and a strong operational and clinical support model. The daily patient volume is manageable, averaging 23–30 patients per day. This role is a great fit for providers seeking predictable scheduling, a collaborative culture, a lower-volume urgent care environment, meaningful patient interactions, and strong work-life balance.
