Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
About The Position
WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare to urgent care patients and occupational health clients. Providers work alongside a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care setting, managing adult and pediatric patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments, and contributing to a positive and supportive medical community. WellNow has more than 150 locations across New York, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and continues to grow. The qualified NP/PA base rate is $85 per hour. Full-time providers are eligible for a sign-on bonus, and providers may earn additional compensation through a monthly bonus program. The role has no on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience, or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where the candidate is applying.
- Physician Assistants must have active board certification with NCCPA.
- Family Nurse Practitioners must have active board certification with AANP or ANCC.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of emergency medicine experience, or 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
